Legal Business Partner
Within the Legal Department and in close collaboration with Sales, Product, Tech, Marketing, HR and Finance teams, the Legal Business Partner supports and secures commercial and technology-driven operations across the group, with a focus on intellectual property, software licensing, partnerships and procurement in an international context. You will handle advisory, drafting, negotiation and contract management on all business-related matters.
Your missions:
Commercial Contracts
Draft, review, negotiate and manage B2B commercial agreements: NDAs, T&Cs, SaaS, software licences agreements, partnership, distribution.
Provide day-to-day legal support to Sales and other business teams and independently handle contractual matters.
Contribute to the improvement of contractual templates, playbooks and documentation.
Procurement & Business Support
Draft, review and negotiate indirect procurement agreements with Tech & Product, Marketing, HR and Finance teams.
Provide practical legal support to internal stakeholders on day-to-day matters.
Compliance, IP & Product
Support Tech and Product teams on legal and regulatory matters relating to new products and features, including Legal by Design and GDPR by Design.
Assist with IP matters and coordinate with external counsel on specific topics, including open source and AI.
Conduct legal and regulatory watch (cyber, IP, tech, competition).
Cybersecurity & Regulatory (strong plus)
Familiarity with cybersecurity regulatory frameworks: NIS2, DORA, Cloud Act, EDPB guidelines.
Ensure cybersecurity obligations are reflected contractually in customer and partner agreements.
Support compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and other industry standards.
Legal Operations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Legal processes through the deployment and use of legal technology, including CLM solutions and AI-powered agents, with a view to streamlining and automating routine workflows.
📍 The position can be based in Paris, Rennes or fully remote in France. Professional trips paid for by the company might be required.
Your profile:
🤩 We are excited to meet you if :
Master's degree in Business Law, Distribution and Commercial Law, IP, Digital / Technology Law.
3–5 years of experience in-house or in a law firm, ideally in a B2B, SaaS or technology environment.
Strong expertise in contract law, with excellent drafting, review and negotiation skills.
Fluent / bilingual English - French (contract drafting & negotiation).
Strong business partner mindset, ability to understand and take into account business considerations in legal matters.
Accuracy, autonomy, discretion.
Pragmatic and business-oriented problem solving.
Ability to operate in an international and fast-paced environment.
Pedagogical communication, clarity, assertiveness.
